Yea, I'm only just now posting this....

This has to be one of my overall favorite sculptures. It's so cute. It wiggles when you pick it up. (He's hanging by wire from the cork.)

Made with: Sculpey (polymer clay), a bottle charm, & wire

Where do you get such tiny bottles?

I find tiny bottles in the jewelry section of craft stores. I've seen them at Hobby Lobby and JoAnn Fabrics. (They run about $2-5 for a package of 2.)

Hobby Lobby doesn't sell them on their website, but it has a store finder. I'm not sure about JoAnn's website. Calling to ask if they carry them is pointless 'cus employees are generally clueless.

You can't buy directly from the distributor unless you're a retailer buying in bulk. If you don't have either store in your area, or if they don't carry them, you can bid on a "lot" of them on ebay. Just search for "bottle charms" or something like that. They have a wider variety than the stores.

No prob. I get questions about those a lot. I'll probably throw that in my next tutorial whenever I get back around to it.

Wow, thanks! I have ideas for some other things based on this concept. Maybe I'll start working on them when I'm back in state.

In the past I've found them at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and JoAnn Fabrics. Everything's going out of business in our town, but I know you can also find them on ebay, either in a lot or singles. The company that makes the bottles won't sell directly to consumers, and businesses are required to put in a very large order. You're probably best off looking at your local craft store or ebay.
