It's Near from Death Note holding a toy robot.

The first time I tried this, Kairi kept hanging on me and smooshed my robot after I'd almost finished it. ;/ And Near's hair was the biggest pain in the butt. I had to start over 3 times on that, and I kinda smooshed his arms and legs in the process. (He's got one leg kinda indian-style, the other one up like L's, one hand on his knee, the other on the robot. I know it's kinda hard to tell.)

The robot's head looks a little different in the bottle, 'cus it broke off when I was jamming him in there. The first time I glued it back on, it was all crooked. SO I had to rip it off, glue his eye back on, and get it to go on straight, which took a few tries.

Overall, I'm happy with it. I didn't glue the cork in like I usually do though, 'cus I was thinking about making Mello with some chocolate and throwing him in there too. Just a thought, I dunno if I'll get around to it....

Is this layout any better than the last one?
Are there any suggestions/requests for what I should do next?

---
Made with: stretch and bend sculpey, a needle, a glass bottle charm, cheap super glue

EDIT: It doesn't seem to want to show up full size, so if you want to see the detail, you may need to download it.

I thought the robot was a bunny first.. but seriously, this is insane, so tiny and yet so detailed, namely the hair! :faint:

Doesn't it get damaged when it rolls around in the bottle?

And thanks for the comments. Looking at my old stuff makes me want to get back to clay.

Nope. I used rubber clay just for that reason. Harder to work with, but worth it.

Wow, that's old. I should re-do this one (when/if I get a break from school). I'm sure I could do better.
