Rawrshack bottle charm by snoday Rawrshack bottle charm by snoday
This is Rorschach (from Watchmen) for part of the first prize for :iconwatchmen-fanclub: 's contest: [link]

Give us some really cool entries so I won't feel so bad about giving this little guy up! ^_^ I INTEND TO MAIL THIS TO THE WINNER!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: It has been sent. ;D

---
I was originally going to do Rorschach shaking hands with Nite Owl, but I'm a little out of practice and thought I'd screw it up, so half-way through I switched to this. I was having some trouble with the scale too, so he came out looking more like a bobble head. Oh well, I'll do better on the next one.

It's kinda hard to see, but behind him is a trash can, lid, bag of trash, and Walter's sign.

Download for super up-close view.
---
Made with: bottle charm, super glue, rubber sculpey, acrylic paint

Disclaimer: I don't own Rorschach, Watchmen, blah-dee-dah etc. etc. or have anything whatsoever to do with its creation doot-dee-doo you get the idea.

Aw! How do you make the bottle charms? I imagine you bought a really small bottle and cork at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or some place like that, but just to be sure, PLEASE SHARE! :iconexcitedplz:

Yes, stocked up at Hobby Lobby. Our Michael's went out of business. You can also get 'em on ebay.

[link] "Rorschach's real name is Walter Joseph Kovacs; born in March 21, 1940." (That's my daughter's birthday! ;p ...different year, of course.)

If he were alive today, that'd make him 69. The comedian died in Oct. 1985 and I can only assume it was later that same year that Rorschach died. Soooo... He would've been 45 when he died.

Are you interested? (FYI, I never asked for as much as $85. It was given to me 'cus the customer was so happy with the product. I always fully consider the customer's offer.)

Well, of course I am!!!
I completely love your rorschach!!!
The problem is the money, I don't have a lot at the moment.
You see, I live in Chihuahua, Mexico, and they sell those little bottle charms here, and they're very cheap, but they don't have rorschach and they don't want to make him 4 me!
I bought Patrick Star [from spongebob squarepants] instead.
They're around 70 pesos [aprox. 6 dollars].

I have two options: :bulletred:Offering you that price [but you might think is too cheap]. Or...
:bulletred:Waiting 'til I have a little more money...

What do you think??

Six dollars is a little cheap because I hand sculpt everything from scratch and Rorshach is one of the more difficult charms I've done.

HOWEVER, you haven't explored all your options. Shipping is usually pretty cheap 'cus they're very light, but I've never shipped to Mexico before. I'd have to check with the post office to see how much shipping would be and do some research so I can make sure it will get there safe. How about part commission ($10 +shipping) and part art trade? I'm not sure what that comes out to in pesos. Do you still use paypal?

How are you at designing?

Well, don't worry 'bout the shipping to Mexico, 'cuz I receive all my mail in USA [Texas! ^^]
So you would send it there.

So I like it ^^
Er... what do you mean with designing? I mean, designing what??

Well, I have never ever done something like that, if you check my gallery you'll see I've just done some photoshop coloring and such, but sure I can try!!!
So hell yeah, Im up 4 it!! :D

Of course, the more details and info you can give me it'll make things easier 4 me! ^^

I do commissions. I know most ppl charge, but I do things a little different.

You note me with exactly what you want. I make it and post pics. If you like it you make me an offer. If I think it's fair you do a paypal transfer. I confirm the money's been sent and mail it 2-3 day shipping. I've gotten anywhere between $35 and $85 shipped (based on how much work went into it).

After I know exactly what you want, it usually takes me a week or so to finish a sculpture, depending on how busy things are. (Though I don't have classes atm, so maybe sooner.)
